PURPOSE: A water purification filter and a method of manufacture thereof are provided to selectively pass only water by removing salt in low pressure state. CONSTITUTION: A water purification filter comprises a support body board(110), a polymer pattern(120) which is formed on the support body board, a membrane protein of the aquaporine series spread inside the intaglio of the polymer pattern and a protective layer(140) which is formed in order to cover the membrane protein. The support body board is formed by one polymer based material among polysulfone and Teflon. The height of the polymer pattern is higher than the height of the membrane protein coating. The membrane protein is a aquaporin vesicle(130) mixed among the lipid bilayer and block copolymer.
