PURPOSE: A system and a method for a local advertisement which connects a ground wave DMB with a GIS are provided to receive a route guide service for a location of a specific object in connection with a GIS or a navigation system. CONSTITUTION: A ground wave DMB receiving unit(310) receives a DMB signal transmitted through a DMB network(200). A BWS data processing unit(410) extracts BWS data content included in the received DMB signal. A GPS receiving unit(320) receives current location information from a GPS(Global Positioning System) satellite. A location service connecting unit(430) guides a route of a corresponding object by transmitting location information of an object extracted through a web browser to a GIS engine.
