APPARATUS FOR CHARGING UNIPOLAR PARTICLE USING SOFT X-RAY

PURPOSE: An apparatus for charging a unipolar particle using soft x-ray is provided to help a user to simply a unipolar charged particle by applying a similar polarity to a target particle to a collecting pin. CONSTITUTION: The chamber(112) of a housing(110) forms the passage of aerosol including particles. An inlet tube(114) is formed on one side of the outer surface of the housing to guide particles inside a chamber. An exhaust pipe(116) is formed on the other side of the outer surface of the hosing to discharge particles from the chamber. A soft x-ray projection unit generates a positive ion and a negative ion through projecting the soft X-ray inside chamber. The collection unit generates a unipolar charged particles by collecting an opposite polarity to a target. A power supply unit applies power to having similar polarity to the target.
