PURPOSE: An airtight fume hood system for the kitchen is provided to block the harmful gas, the smell and the smoke from getting in the indoor space since an air curtain is formed to cover all directions. CONSTITUTION: An airtight fume hood system for the kitchen comprises a smoke intake hood(21), an exhaust duct(22), an exhaust blower(23), a air supply hood(11), an air supply duct(12), and an air injecting nozzle(31). The exhaust blower is formed on the exhaust duct and discharges the intake smoke to the outdoor space. The air supply hood is formed to face the upper part of the smoke intake hood. The air supply duct is connected to the upper part of the air supply hood. The air injecting nozzle is arranged between the air supply hood and the smoke intake hood at a given interval, is connected to the air supply duct and is formed outwards from just below the duct at an angle of 1-75°.
