PURPOSE: A remote controller of complex communication method is provided to control many kinds of AV devices with one remote controller. CONSTITUTION: A microphone on switch(162) turns on the operation of an embedded microphone(182). A speaker output selecting unit(158) selects an audio signal which is outputted from an AV device(10) to a speaker having the AV device or remote controller outputting terminal(181). A microphone input selecting unit(160) selects whether to input a voice signal through the embedded microphone or to input a voice signal through an external microphone connected to the external microphone inputting terminal(183).
