A pivotally adjustable hinge for securing a panel, such as a e.g. a door, a gate, a wicket, a hatch, a window and the like, pivotal about an axis of rotation and having at least one rotational position about said axis in which said panel is fixed ciosed and/or fixed open, wherein said hinge comprises a worm (1, 81) and wheel (10, 80) drive assembly allowing a continuous rotational adjustment of the position(s) in which a panel attached to said hinge is fixed ciosed and/ar fixed open and rotational locking of any such obtained adjusted position.
