The lock has a housing and a core and respective pins which can be moved by a mechanically coded key into a position allowing rotation of the core. A locking mechanism is controlled by electronic coding of the key. One core pin (13) has a lever (14) arranged such that when the key is withdrawn the pin is in a position such that its lever arm extends beyond both sides of the pin to lock a rotation locking mechanism in a position in which it prevents rotation.
