Follicle stimulating hormone (FSH) mutants with engineered glycosylation sites

Follicle stimulating hormone (FSH) mutants with increased glycosylation and longer half-lives and uses thereof for inducing folliculogenesis or ovarian hyperstimulation. The alpha-subunit of FSH is encoded by a nucleic acid from the group of SEQ ID NOs: 4 or 5 and the beta-subunit is encoded by SEQ ID NO: 3. The FSH can have any one from 0-6 asparagine residues glycosylated, in particular N5 from SEQ ID NOs: 4 or 5 is glycosylated.
