PURPOSE: A relative membrane contamination index calculated by a mechanical study method and a system and a method for automatically controlling an injection amount of coagulant are provided to keep a proper injection amount of coagulant even though inputted water quality is changed or a membrane is rapidly contaminated. CONSTITUTION: A system and a method for automatically controlling an injection amount of coagulant includes a water quality monitoring unit(110), a flow electric potential measurement unit(120), an injection amount calculation unit(130), a membrane contamination index unit(140), a stress material selecting unit(150), and a controller(160). The water quality monitoring unit measures water quality factors such as a water temperature, pH, turbidity, and chlorophyll-a in real time. The flow electric potential measurement unit measures an electric charge of inputted water. The injection amount calculation unit calculates an injection amount of coagulant through a coagulant prediction model. The controller monitors an injection amount of coagulant by a measured electric potential. |
