The package has four side walls (1-4) articulated along parallel edges between side walls. A semi-automatic type bottom part made of four shutters (10, 20, 30, 40) is articulated around folding lines (11, 21, 31, 41) perpendicular to the edges of the side walls. A locking tension roll (22) is arranged to be engaged in a cut (12) of the shutters. Two of the shutters comprise tabs (32, 42) along free edges, where length of the tab is equal to distance between a folding line of the roll and one of the folding lines of the shutters. An independent claim is also included for a method for setting in volume of packing.
