#CMT# #/CMT# The power supply has a control circuit short-circuiting a current circuit for a voltage of an electronic circuit (1) if required. The electronic circuit has zener diodes (7, 8) connected in series. The control circuit includes a control transistor (10), where an emitter of the control transistor is connected with one of the zener diode (8) and with a base of a power transistor (9). A control signal is applied to an input (14) of the control transistor such that current flows from a collector of the power transistor to the emitter via a collector of the control transistor. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# Electrical power supply for supplying electrical power to an electronic circuit of an electronic device (claimed) i.e. remote control signal receiver, for a blind motor. #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The design of the power supply reduces consumption of the power from a supply network and power requirement of the electronic device, thus saving energy.
