COMPUTER SERVER CAPABLE OF SUPPORTING CPU VIRTUALIZATION

摘要

PURPOSE: A computer server capable of supporting CPU virtualization is provided to help resource distribution of CPU and system management by measuring the CPU usage rate with partition status information. CONSTITUTION: A CPU(Central Processing Unit) pool(210) comprises a plurality of CPUs. The partitions(230) are allocated the above CPUs mutually exclusive, and execute OS(Operating System) mutually independent. A resource managing/monitoring unit(220) presently manages the CPU allocation and collection about each partition based on the number of available CPUs and present the number of used CPUs. The resource managing/monitoring unit watches the partition status information, and measures the CPU usage rate.
