RECONDITIONING DEVICE AND METHOD FOR CRANK PIN

PURPOSE: A crank pin machining apparatus and method for a vessel engine are provided to minimize a machining error by stably placing a basket on a fillet part of a crank shaft. CONSTITUTION: A crank pin machining apparatus comprises a basket, a driving unit, and a chain. The basket comprises a pair of rotary rings(11,12), a support rod(13), a transfer rod(14), a support piece(15), and a fixture(16). A pair of drive sprockets are installed in the driving unit. The chain is wound around the rotary rings of the basket and the drive sprockets in order to transfer a driving force to the rotary rings.
