The sofa has an upper spring-mattress (3) and a lower spring-mattress (4) assembled so as to pivot around pivoting axes (7, 8), respectively. The spring-mattresses are brought to pass from a folded position to an unfolded position by pivoting about 90 degrees by turning the upper spring-mattress in a direction opposite to the lower spring-mattress to form a base (1) of a bed. The axis of each spring-mattress is provided on a longitudinal median axis of the spring-mattresses, and distance between the pivoting axes is equal to width of the spring-mattresses.
