CANDLE VENDING MACHINE WITH ROTATING CONTAINER

The vending machine with rotating container represents a simple solution from the aspect of construction requiring no electric power for its operation. The concept features a completely mechanically based operation. By inserting a coin the client rotates the handle of the mechanical jeton mechanism (5) by one complete turn and may take a candle (24) from the required compartment or opening for the removal of candles (9). The complete construction is made predominantly from stainless steel sheet-metal, while the containers (12) are made from zinc coated sheet-metal. Antique silver structural colour is applied to the external surfaces. The containers (12) are located one above the other, while their mutual distance is defined by supporting brackets (11) and supporting pipes (14) with bolts (15). On the container (12) there are compartments (13) featuring individual numbers and a distribution depending on the size and quantity of the items. The mechanical monetary jeton mechanism (5) with applied gearwheel and longitudinal openings on the container (12) represents a gearwheel drive. Inserting a coin and rotating the jeton mechanism (5) means a rotational shift of the container (12) by one compartment (13) where a candle (24) or other item is located. There is a channel (18) serving as a coin guide leading to the lower part of the vending machine (1). When filling the vending machine first the cover (3) and then the back cover (4) are removed. Then the containers (12) are released featuring mechanisms for raising the compartments (20) which upon pulling the handle they are vertically raised just above the level of the gearwheel (1) and releasing the fitting of the gearwheel drive so that the containers (12) are freely rotated and filled with candles (24) or other items.
