Improvements to labels and application apparatus therefor

Label application apparatus comprises a roll 404 comprised of label tape, a roll holder 402, and a roller 408 and belt 410 by which the label tape 416 is fed to the application point where the first label 406 will be applied to an article 424. The label tape 416 is cut and the label 406 adhered to the article 424. The movement of the label tape 416 from the roller 408 to the belt 410 can be controlled. The apparatus provides an efficient and effective method of applying labels to articles.
