COSMETIC COMPOSITION KIT CONTAINING AN ACIDIC POLYMER TO GENERATE CARBON DIOXIDE

PURPOSE: A cosmetic composition and cosmetic kit containing carbon dioxide with acidic polymer is provided to suppress skin irritation by organic acid and to improve skin condition. CONSTITUTION: A cosmetic kit comprises a cosmetic base, carbonate and acidic polymer which generates carbon dioxide during reaction with carbonate. A composition containing carbon dioxide is prepared by reaction of water with the cosmetic kit. The cosmetic base contains gellan, dihydroxy xanthone gum, or mixture thickening agent thereof.
