The joint (22) has a core (25A) connecting annular and concentric lips i.e. inner lip, middle lip (26M) and outer lip (26E). The middle lip is interrupted circumferentially in a manner to include axially long portions (28) and axially short portions (30). The long and short portions respectively include free ends (28L, 30L) and connection ends with core (25A). The free end of the axially short portions is axially retracted with respect to the free end of axially long portions, where the joint is deformed by passage of pressure difference between pressure and supply chambers. An independent claim is also included for a master cylinder for a braking system, comprising a body.
