PURPOSE: An apparatus for controlling the heat-collecting angle of a solar collector is provided to facilitate the adjustment of the heat-collecting angle of a heat-collecting module according to the location of the sun by elevating a height-adjustable rod. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for controlling the heat-collecting angle of a solar collector comprises a heat collecting module(10), supports(20) and an angle adjusting unit. The angle adjusting unit comprises a rack gear(26), a height-adjustable rod(22), a fixed bar(28), a drive motor(32), a cylinder(36) and an actuator(40). The rack gear is installed the upper surface of the angle adjusting unit. A through-hole(24) is formed along the lower surface of the height-adjustable rod. The fixed rod is coupled underneath the height-adjustable rod is fixed on the ground. A pinion gear(34) engaged with the rack gear is mounted on a shaft end of the drive motor. A fixed pin(38) is coupled with the though-hole of the height-adjustable rod. An actuator moves a cylinder rod(36a) forward and backward. The actuator comprises a compressor(44) and a solenoid valve(46). The compressor supplies air pressure to the cylinder through a supply pipe. A solenoid valve is mounted on the supply pipe. |
