PURPOSE: An electronic scale is provided having a simple design because an upper plate covers a lower plate in order to hide a display window and a button when not needed. CONSTITUTION: An electronic scale comprises an upper plate(10), a support plate, a weight sensing plate, and a lower plate(20). Items are placed on the top of the upper plate. The support plate is fastened to a sliding unit of the upper plate with an elastic unit restricting movement. The weight sensing plate is placed on the support plate and transmits the weight value applied to the upper plate to a load cell. The lower plate has an internal space in which the weight sensing plate is installed. A display window(30) is installed on an upper side of the lower plate. A circular spring is formed on the support plate.
