PRODUCT CONVEYING WORK AMOUNT PREDICTION DEVICE, PRODUCT CONVEYING WORK AMOUNT PREDICTION METHOD, AND COMPUTER PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To predict the work amount of a conveying machine more easily and accurately than a prior art.

SOLUTION: Orders (products) with the same "transportation configuration" and "destination" contained in an order attribute are set as a single shipping group. Based on conveying performance data, the number of usage times for each conveying machine in each shipping group (conveying machine work occurrence probability in each shipping group) is calculated for each unit order (unit product). Based on a planned shipping amount for each product, a planned shipping amount in a predetermined period is calculated in each shipping group. Then, values obtained by multiplying the planned shipping amounts in the corresponding periods by the conveying machine work occurrence probabilities of the corresponding conveying machines in the respective shipping groups are added to calculate the work amount for each predetermined period in each conveying machine.
