<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric power steering device capable of being miniaturized in the radial direction. <P>SOLUTION: This electric power steering device includes a torque sensor for detecting steering torque input in a steering member and a cylindrical housing for housing the torque sensor. The torque sensor includes a synthetic resin member 62. The synthetic resin member 62 includes a cylindrical part 64 coaxially buried with a magnetism collecting ring 58, a plurality of mounting parts 65 provided in an outer peripheral part of the cylindrical part 64, and a plurality of mounting holes 67 formed in each of the plurality of mounting parts 65 to pass through the corresponding mounting part 65 in the axial direction X1 of the cylindrical part 64.
