<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cushioning body capable of preventing a layer transition part of the lowermost step from being broken by being pinched between the cushioning bodies when a coil-like pipe is drawn out by an ETTS system, and to provide a method for placing a packed level wound coil. <P>SOLUTION: Among packing materials 20 for packing a level wound coil 10 in which a continuous copper pipe 12 is constituted in a coil shape by line-up winding, traverse winding to wind a plurality of layers in the radial direction R, cushioning plates (22 and 30) are brought into contact with the upper and lower faces 11a and 11b of the coil. On the contact face 35 on the side with which the lower face cushioning plate 30 being brought into contact with the lower face 11b of the coil is brought into contact at positions opposing the lower face side layer transition part 14b of the copper pipe 12 transiting from odd-number layers to external even-number layers across the interlayer, friction reducing recessed parts 40 for reducing friction with the lower face side layer transition part 14b is provided. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
