<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an airbag device for a vehicle that can appropriately decelerate a person on board when the vehicle collides, without raising a local load at the person on board. <P>SOLUTION: An airbag device 1 for the vehicle includes an airbag 10 and an inflator 40 for introducing gas into the airbag 10. The airbag 10 includes a main inflating part 20 to be developed at the entire area in front of the person on board when receiving the gas from the inflator 40, and a sub inflating part 30 provided to a rear side of the main inflating part 20, which opposes to the person on board, and inflating so as to protrude from the main inflating part 20. The sub inflating part 30 includes a right sub inflating part 31 corresponding to the right side of a head of the person on board, and a left sub inflating part 32 corresponding to the left side of the head of the person on board. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
