PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plant equipped with piping having a branch capable of further reducing pressure fluctuation based on acoustic resonance. SOLUTION: A BWR plant 1 is equipped with main steam piping 10 supplying steam to a turbine from a nuclear reactor pressure vessel. A branch pipe 12A with a length L<SB>1</SB>of the branch pipe and a branch pipe 12B with a length of L<SB>2</SB>are adjacently connected to the main steam piping 10. A steam relief safety valve 13A is attached to the branch pipe 12A, and a steam relief safety valve 13B is attached to the branch pipe 12B. The lengths L<SB>1</SB>and L<SB>2</SB>have a relationship of L<SB>1</SB>>L<SB>2</SB>, and the length L<SB>1</SB>is 40% longer than the length L<SB>2</SB>. A distance l between the branch pipe 12A and the branch pipe 12B is longer than the length L<SB>2</SB>of the branch pipe 12B. In such a branch pipe 14 of the main steam piping 10, since a branch pipe 15A and a branch pipe 15B do not reach acoustic resonance at the same time, the generation of strong pressure fluctuation caused by acoustic resonance can be suppressed.
