<p>In order to improve the operability of an X-ray diaphragm, and to reduce X-ray exposure to a subject, provided is an X-ray diagnostic device which is equipped with an X-ray irradiation section (104) for irradiating an X-ray to a subject, an X-ray diaphragm (106) having a plurality of diaphragm blades which block the X-ray, an X-ray diaphragm movement section (132) for inducing the movement of the plurality of diaphragm blades, an X-ray detection section (112) which is arranged so as to face the X-ray irradiation section and which detects the transmission X-ray of the subject, and a display section (118) for displaying X-ray images based on the X-ray signal detected by the X-ray detection section (112). The X-ray diagnostic device is equipped with a storage section (130) for storing a plurality of blocks obtained by dividing an X-ray irradiation area to which the X-ray is irradiated, and a selection section (122) for selecting at least one block among the plurality of blocks, wherein the X-ray diaphragm movement section (132) induces the movement of the plurality of diaphragm blades correspondingly to the selected block. Also provided is a method for controlling the X-ray diaphragm of the X-ray diagnostic device.</p> |
