<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hose for a vacuum cleaner which has excellent design, and is capable of being easily manufactured. <P>SOLUTION: The hose for the vacuum cleaner has a flexible hose wall 1 which is cylindrically formed of synthetic resin. The hose wall 1 is composed by layering and integrating a plurality of layers. The outermost layer 101 of the hose wall is transparent or translucent, and a foamed resin layer 102 is disposed adjacent to the inner side of the outermost layer 101. The color of the outermost layer 101 is preferably different from that of the foamed resin layer 102, and the outer surface of the outermost layer 101 is preferably a flat glossy surface.
