<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a broadcast receiver which displays a three-dimensional video on a monitor after determining whether or not a user can view the three-dimensional video. <P>SOLUTION: The broadcast receiver, which receives a first video stream displaying a two-dimensional video of a prescribed program, a second video stream displaying a three-dimensional video of the program and an event message which are distributed from a broadcasting station, includes: a reproducing means for reproducing the first video stream or the second video stream; a determining means for determining whether the user wears a three-dimensional device necessary to watch the three-dimensional video; and a control means for executing control for reproducing the second video stream when the user wears the three-dimensional device, and reproducing the first video stream when the user does not wear the three-dimensional device, in the case that a distribution start event message showing that the broadcasting station starts to distribute the second video stream is received. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
