<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent changes in display positions of cursors to pointing device type remote controllers when changing input in video processing units connected to external video devices. <P>SOLUTION: A control section transmits position information relating to the display position of a cursor image to the external video device via a communication means when video data to be input is changed. Further, cursor image data generated by the external video device is received from the external video device such that the cursor image after change is displayed at a position corresponding to the display position of the cursor image that has been displayed before the video data to be input is changed, and the cursor image based on the cursor image data received from the external video device is displayed on a display section. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
