<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make lengths of wires electrically connecting light emitting diode chips to a second lead equal in a light emitting element. <P>SOLUTION: In the light emitting element comprising: a first lead 2 in which a mounting section 2a arranging and mounting light emitting diode chips 1a, 1b in the shape of a straight line is provided at an upper part; a second lead 4 in which a connection surface 4b connecting wires 3a, 3b pulled out from the light emitting diode chips 1a, 1b with bonding is provided at an upper part; and a mold part 6 which seals upper parts of these first and second leads 2, 4, the light emitting diode chips 1a, 1b and the wires 3a, 3b, the connection surface 4b of the second lead 4 is constituted to have a width longer than arrangement widths of the light emitting diode chips 1a, 1b, and the wires 3a, 3b connecting the light emitting diode chips 1a, 1b with the second lead 4 are configured to have the same length. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
