<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a color filter to suppress color transfer to adjacent pixels or a vertical layer in a laminated structure with excellent light resistance. <P>SOLUTION: The method includes: a film forming process to apply on a support body a dye-containing negative type curable composition containing at least polymerizable group-containing dye, a photoinitiator and a polymerizable compound, expressed by general formula (I); a pattern forming process to expose and develop an application layer; an ultraviolet ray emitting process to emit ultraviolet rays of emission light quantity ten times more than the exposure quantity at exposure before development; and a heat treatment process to make heat treatment to a pattern after ultraviolet emission.
