<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent false detection of a toner sensor and to enhance discharging ability of a toner storage section. <P>SOLUTION: The toner storage section includes: a housing 140: an agitator 141 provided in the housing to agitate toner; a screw 142 for toner conveyance and discharge, which is provided to one side at the inside of the housing so as to be in parallel with the rotation drive shaft 1412 of the agitator; and a toner sensor 143 for detecting the amount of remaining toner stored in the housing. A flexible blade sheet 1411 is disposed at the tip of the agitator. The blade sheet is rotated along with the rotation of the toner agitator, and moved in contact with the detecting surface 1430 of the toner sensor, thereby cleaning the detection surface and scraping up toner toward the toner conveyance-discharge screw. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
