<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent strain and waving from being generated in a spine shape when forming a spine of a booklet. <P>SOLUTION: A spine formation device includes a conveyance passage aura 101 which conveys a crease part of a double-folded sheet bundle as a tip, a press plate 103 for pressing a sheet bundle tip, a positioning groove 104b for positioning a projecting amount of a sheet bundle from the press plate 103, and a spine forming plate 104 which has a spine forming surface 104 for forming a crease in the spine of the sheet bundle. The spine forming plate 104 is advanced and retreated in the thickness direction of the sheet bundle with respect to a sheet bundle conveyance passage, the spine forming surface is changed to the positioning groove part with respect to the sheet bundle tip so that the spine forming plate 104 is reciprocated in the sheet bundle transportation direction, the sheet bundle tip is controlled by the spine forming plate 104, and the sheet bundle is deformed in a space surrounded by the spine forming plate 104 and the press plate 103. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
