摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device for a multistage automatic transmission, for actualizing adequate higher-speed control of a down-shift permission determination value even during down-shift in a plurality of stages. SOLUTION: In a vehicle which is set in an manual shift mode for manual up-shift or down-shift of a shift stage with the operation of a driver, an electronic control unit 1 permits the manual down-shift on condition that the turbine rotating speed of the multistage automatic transmission 6 is a down-shift permission determination value set depending on the shift stage after down-shift, or smaller, during the manual shift mode, and corrects the down-shift permission determination value with a higher-speed correction amount computed depending on the turbine rotating speed at starting shift. The electronic control unit 1 individually computes the higher-speed correction amount at this time with respect to each stage of the down-shift to actualize adequate higher-speed control of the down-shift permission determination value even during the down-shift in the plurality of stages.
