PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for readily producing granular polymer particles containing a carboxy group, having a specific middle particle diameter and a high bulk density. SOLUTION: The method for producing the granular polymer particles containing the carboxy group includes a step for producing the polymer particles containing the carboxy group, a step for producing aggregates of the polymer particles containing the carboxy group in the presence of an inert solvent and a polar organic solvent, and a step for drying the aggregates of the polymer particles containing the carboxy group.
