PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display only the appropriate objects on a map in accordance with user attribute. SOLUTION: A map display system 1 is provided with: a receiving section 15 receiving user ID and position information indicating a prescribed place from a cellular phone M; a map acquisition section 16 reading, from a map database 11, map data corresponding to an area of the prescribed range containing the place indicated by the received position information; a user information acquisition section 17 reading, out of a user attribute database 12, the attribute information corresponding to the received user ID; an object acquisition section 18 reading, from an object database 14, the information of an object located in the area and which the read user information therefor satisfies drawing conditions; a generation section 19 generating map content data by drawing the object indicated by the read object information on a map; and a transmission section 20 transmitting the generated map content data to the cellular phone M.
