PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To cleanly remove a white ink delivered to a region other than a medium before the ink is solidified. SOLUTION: When a head 101A moves in the left direction of the drawing relatively to the medium (transparent sheet), a third nozzle array 203 is located at the downstream side of the relative movement direction from a first nozzle array 201. At this time, the third nozzle array 203 delivers a third liquid (white ink), and the first nozzle array 201 delivers a first liquid (cleaning liquid) at a position substantially the same as a position where the third nozzle array 203 delivers the third liquid.
