PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To further suppress oil pulsation without deteriorating pump efficiency in an oil pump for lubricating oil of an engine mounted on a vehicle. SOLUTION: This oil pump includes: an inner rotor 2; an outer rotor 3 eccentrically engaged with the inner rotor 2; a housing 4 rotatively storing the outer rotor 3; a suction chamber 41 and a delivery chamber 42 which are formed in the housing 4; and a shallow bottom 43 shallower than the delivery chamber 42, provided forward in the rotating direction of the delivery chamber 42 in order to communicate with the delivery chamber 42 through a throttle flow passage immediately before a closed space 5 is opened in the delivery chamber 42. The shallow bottom 43 is formed with a plurality of grooves 43a extending in a direction substantially perpendicular to an oil flow.
