PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a knitted fabric for clothes, excellent in comfortable wearing feeling and high grade feeling, such as the tense stiff feeling of woven fabrics (jacket, pants) and the characteristic swollen feeling of knitted fabrics, fresh hands giving soft refrigerating feeling, comfortable wearing feeling having proper moisture absorbability and stretchability, a deep hue, and such a high grade gloss as that of silk. SOLUTION: This knitted fabric includes cellulose-based filament yarns having at least a water content (R) of not more than 8%, and elastic yarns, wherein the blend rate of the cellulose-based filament yarns is not less than 50%.
