PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inexpensively manufacture an accurate injection mold. SOLUTION: In the method for manufacturing the injection mold 3, a cavity 13 is formed by abutting a first mold 4 and a second mold 5 at a parting line surface 14 for mold clamping. The first mold 4 includes a mold body having a recession 16, a plate 2 placed on a bottom 20 of the recession 16, and a nest 6 placed on the plate 2 and having a cavity surface 18 forming a part of the cavity 13 and a part of the parting line surface 14. When a maximum value of a cutting amount in the clamping direction when the cavity surface 18 of the nest 6 is cut is A, a part of the parting line surface 14 of the nest 6 is cut to have the cutting amount of A, and a thickness of the plate 2 is increased for the amount of A.
