PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic probe which can suppress variation of overall length of a transmission member and carry out stable rocking. SOLUTION: The ultrasonic probe includes: a transducer body 13 with a plurality of ultrasonic transducers to transmit/receive ultrasonic waves; a rocking shaft 14 attached to the transducer body 13 and rockably supported by a support body; a first pulley 15 attached to the rocking shaft 14; a second pulley 18 attached to an output shaft 17a of a driving motor 17; and a flexible belt 20 put around the first pulley 15 and the second pulley 18. Eccentricity of the curvature center of the belt 20 put around the rocking center of the output shaft 17a and the second pulley 18 is adjusted by an adjust screw 31. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
