Sorting conveyor i.e. rotation sorter, for use in conveyor system in larger airport to automatically transport flight luggage, has vertically rotating cases accommodating and delivering goods from and to sorter and temporarily storing goods

The conveyor i.e. rotation sorter (1), has two paternoster sorters (5, 6) that are arranged along a conveying path of the sorter. The paternoster sorters have vertically rotating cases for accommodating and delivering bulk goods i.e. flight luggage, from and to the sorter and for temporary storage of bulk goods. The sorter is guided one above the other in a conveying area (4) of the paternoster sorters in multiple floors. The size of the paternoster sorters is selected according to the throughput of a conveyor system.
