<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a video display apparatus which prevents operations from being complicated when a user operates an external input device connected to the apparatus body at the time of power-on. <P>SOLUTION: A liquid crystal television 100 (video display apparatus) includes: an external equipment input part 32 connected to a plurality of external input devices (51-55) for inputting video signals, a display screen part 11 for displaying video based on video signals from the external equipment input part 32, and a control part 36 configured to turn on external input devices (a DVD player 51 and a set-top box 52) specified in advance by a user out of the external input devices (51-55) connected to the external equipment input part 32 when a television body 10 is turned on. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
