<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the following problem: when there is a difference in variation of data items to be classified, the number of categories for classifying data increases, thereby increasing calculation cost. <P>SOLUTION: A computer obtains standard deviation of each item of sampled input data, preprocesses the input data based on the obtained standard deviation of each item, selects a prototype of a category closest to the preprocessed input data, evaluates whether or not the selected prototype is proper from relation between the prototype and the input data, and classifies a plurality of pieces of the input data constituted of a plurality of items into a plurality of categories. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
