PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a self-propelled carriage for high lift work having a simplified structure at low cost for altering a position of a loading platform while being improved in working efficiency with the capability of locating the loading platform at a position suited for work or an operator. SOLUTION: The self-propelled carriage 100 for high lift work comprises: a traveling section 1 including auxiliary wheels (a front auxiliary wheel 22 and rear auxiliary wheels 23 and 23) and drive wheels 21 and 21; a mast 5 standing upright on the traveling section 1 extendable in a vertical direction; and a work bench 6 mounted to the mast 5 allowing the operator to get in. The self-propelled carriage for high lift work includes the loading platform 8 which is detachably provided at the work bench 6 at a front thereof to be vertically adjustable.
