摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle control device capable of avoiding the impaired durability of a transmission belt when the slippage of the transmission belt is generated. SOLUTION: When a variationΔs in the slippage rate of the transmission belt 48 of a continuously variable transmission 18 is greater than a thresholdΔA, a selecting means 188 suppresses damage to the transmission belt 48 caused by the slippage of the transmission belt 48 on a primary pulley 42 and a secondary pulley 46. A belt clamping force increasing means 194 having high responsiveness is selected out of the belt clamping force increasing means 194 and an input torque reducing means 196 as a plurality of sliding suppressing means 192 different in responsiveness. Thus, in a state that the variationΔs in the slippage rate of the transmission belt 48 is greater, namely, that the abrupt slippage of the transmission belt 48 is generated, the belt clamping force increasing means 194 having higher responsiveness than that of the input torque reducing means 196 can suppress damage to the transmission belt 48 caused by the slippage.
