PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem on high cost as an oxygen sensor is expensive in adjusting oxygen concentration by using the oxygen sensor, in a case when the oxygen concentration in the food storage space is decreased by an oxygen concentration adjusting means applying an ion conductive high polymer solid electrolyte membrane. SOLUTION: A control method for calculating the oxygen concentration Xi in the food storage space from an integrated value Ai of electric current values flowing in the oxygen concentration adjusting means, and determining a time to switch off (stopping operation) of the oxygen concentration adjusting means on the basis of the relationship between the oxygen concentration and a target oxygen concentration, is used.
