PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compaction machine capable of reducing total mass in the manual type compaction machine with an engine. SOLUTION: This compaction machine 10 includes the engine 31 for driving a compaction plate 21, and at least one operation handle 34 for holding or operating the compaction machine 10, the operation handle 34 is provided with a flow pipe for feeding at least tentatively combustion air to the engine 31, and the operation handle 34 is thereby functioned as a conduit for transferring the combustion air, in addition to only a holding/operating function.
