PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protector for preventing vermin damage on a young tree which does not inhibit growth of the young tree, allows sunlight to sufficiently pass through, keeps the environment around the young tree equal to the outer air environment, and also is facilitated in transportation and attachment. SOLUTION: The protector for preventing vermin damage on a young tree 1 includes a cylindrical net 2 formed of net formed from a stretchable knitted material, and is structured as follows: string-through guide portions 3 and 4 through which a string is inserted, are formed at the peripheral edges of the top and bottom openings of the cylindrical net 2 respectively; and strings 5 and 6 are inserted into the insides of the top and bottom string-through guides respectively.
