PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and the like capable of recognizing voices while flexibly coping with arbitrary conditions. SOLUTION: A pseudo inverse matrix R<SP>+</SP>of a non-square matrix R as the correlation matrix of an input signal x is used and an inverse filter h is set. Based on the inverse filter h and an estimated correlation matrix R^ generated by a window function w, an error cost J(h) of the correlation value of the input signal x and the output signal y against a target correlation value d is calculated.
